Directions to FVFA:
Get to I-91.  Take exit #37 (Rt. 305).  Go West (towards Sunoco gas station) on Rt. 305 for about 2.2 miles.  At intersection with Rt. 187 (Blue Hills Ave.) take a right.  Get in left hand lane.  Take left on West Dudley Town Road.  FVFA is about 1/4 mile on the left.

~ Upcoming Beginner Sessions (8-week courses for adults and children 10+ with no fencing experience):  ALL Beginner Sessions currently in progress and enrollment now closed.  Next Sessions starting mid-September (enrollment will open early August)!! E-mail me at FVFA@comcast.net if you'd like to sign up or if you'd like to be notified when enrollment opens for future beginner sessions (Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday); or download the Beginner Session Registration package from HEREAt FVFA we have one of the best fencing programs in the State of Connecticut, so let me assure you it's worth the wait for a new session--it's better to wait for a top-notch class than not waiting and catching bad habits in the meantime.  A list of all the programs offered at FVFA (for all ages) can be found here!  Get started ASAP!

~ Information for the Beginner Youth Fencing Program for boys and girls ages 7-8-9 is NOW AVAILABLE!  Next class starting in October or check out the 2010 Summer Clinics!  Please e-mail me at FVFA@comcast.net today so I can send you details!

~ UPDATED--ADULT EPEE FENCING LEAGUE NOW CHANGED TO MONDAYS (instead of Fridays):  If you are an adult (16+) and are interested in fun social competitive fencing, then contact me right away for the Fall Adult Epee League!! For more info click here!

~ Updated 3/1/10:  09-10 FVFA Tournament Schedule now posted HEREThings you can do to pay reduced entry fees at FVFA:  (1) Pre-register via mail (non-refundable) at least ONE week in advance gives you a $5 discount and/or (2) register online at www.AskFRED.net and you get a $1 back the day of the tournament!!

~ Wish you could get a college scholarship or fence on a NCAA collegiate team? If you're a middle school or high school student and you're interested, e-mail me NOW--start training now, before it's too late!, and YOU could qualify for a college fencing scholarship!

~ Next time you're at the club, check out the cool new FVFA water bottles (leakproof this time!!) and FVFA sport packs (great for shoes or fencing mask!)!!  They're just $6 each or $10 for both.  Get yours today!

~ If you are already a competitive fencer (from any fencing club/program in the area), take the FVFA Private Lesson Challenge!!  Basically you sign up to take 3 months of private lessons (1 per week) with Coach Mal-sun and if your fencing does not feel like it has improved, you get ALL your money back!!  You can start immediately, so contact Mal-sun at FVFA@comcast.net ASAP.  FVFA Membership and representation NOT required for the first 3 months.
